BACC offers development of medium-term and long-term strategic documents at local, regional and national level; evaluations of strategic documents at different levels: municipal plans and updates, development /evaluation of regional development plans, development and implementation of integrated territorial investment projects.

The company supports the development of policies and implementation of renovation programs in the housing sector.

BACC experts have many years of experience gained in Bulgarian and international projects. The activities under these projects are primarily aimed at supporting socio-economic development, both for the public and for the non-governmental and private sectors.
Based on the good knowledge of the practices of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the company and its experts work actively to adapt good European practices and to implement them in Bulgaria when renovating the existing housing stock of the country.

1. Housing policy

  • Support to the Housing Policy Directorate at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for the implementation of the project “Energy renovation of Bulgarian homes”, incl. development of a detailed methodology for project implementation
  • Current evaluation of the implementation of the National Program for Energy Efficiency of Multifamily Residential Buildings – selection of sites for inspection according to pre-defined criteria.
  • Provision of services to the Housing Policy Directorate at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works for development of policies and measures for EE renovation of the existing housing stock in the Republic of Bulgaria
  • Provision of consulting services to the Council of Europe Development Bank – evaluation of the results of the use of the credit line by the bank for the implementation of the National Program for Energy Efficiency of Multifamily Residential Buildings
